Architecture & Design
Simon's design program centers on layered, handcrafted materials rarely seen in a condominium setting. The entrance features eglomise panels, a specialized technique of gilding and painting on the reverse side of glass that shifts with ambient light. The powder room is hung with hand-painted Gracie tea paper and fitted with a vintage Lalique pendant fixture above a custom vanity with a custom basin set.
Living & Dining Rooms
The living room fireplace wall is anchored by a custom mantel composed of molded and silver-gilded glass, Bianco Sivec stone sculpted in a modernist design, and 24-karat gold-plated fillets flanking the molded glass. An overmantel mirror in fluted and plain glass conceals a flat-screen television visible only when powered on. Walls are covered in a custom platinum-toned silk wall covering that complements the custom carpet and sheer curtains.
A rare slab of Byzantine Pink Onyx, floated between mirrored columns, separates the living room from the dining room. One column contains a mini fridge and storage for stemware, wine, and spirits. Custom commissioned chandeliers illuminate the dining room. Both living and dining areas open onto an expansive terrace overlooking the golf course with long lake views beyond.
Kitchen & Private Suites
The open kitchen is fitted with custom cabinetry, Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, two dishwashers, and a micro-mosaic backsplash. A large island provides barstool seating.
The study and guest suite features walls clad in reverse-painted glass with brass fillets, a private bath, and terrace access. A dedicated guest bedroom with en-suite bath also opens to the terrace; its walls feature custom commissioned silver-leafed panels, and the custom carpet design echoes through the bath.
The primary suite runs the full length of the residence with his and her baths and large closets outfitted with handmade millwork for separate wardrobes. A custom canopy is supported by columns finished in antique mirrored glass. Hand-tufted wall-to-wall carpeting in a trellis pattern extends through the suite, and a private terrace completes the space. The residence operates as a smart home with electric drapes and shades throughout.

Akoya provides three elevators with private foyer entry, valet parking, a 24-hour attended front desk, a heated pool, fitness center, social party room, and card room. Three garage spaces are included, two of which are air-conditioned storage units with electric access.
