Architecture & Design
Kimbrough's design follows a coastal vernacular that has aged well since the 1982 build. The main residence contains three ensuite bedrooms arranged in a split floor plan, separating the primary quarters from the guest wings. Total area under roof is 3,162 square feet, with 2,538 square feet of air-conditioned living space across the main house and guest house combined.
Interior
The split plan positions the primary suite on one side of the home, with two additional ensuite bedrooms on the opposite wing. This layout is effective for both full-time residents and those hosting overnight guests, offering separation without requiring a second story. Each bedroom has its own full bath, maintaining privacy throughout.
Guest House
A former two-car garage has been converted into a detached guest house with a fourth bedroom and full bath. The space functions equally well as a private home office or studio, set apart from the daily flow of the main house. Buyers should note the conversion eliminates the original garage; parking is accommodated on the property's driveway and grounds.
Location & Access
Lost Tree Village occupies a peninsula at the northern tip of Palm Beach County's barrier island corridor, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the east and the Intracoastal Waterway to the west. Residents have access to the private Beach House on the ocean, the Clubhouse, championship golf course, fine dining, and the Fitness Center. The community is secured with a staffed gate and security patrol. Palm Beach International Airport is approximately 25 minutes south via I-95, and the community sits within a short drive of the shops and restaurants along U.S. 1 in North Palm Beach and Juno Beach. Lost Tree's membership structure and low density (fewer than 600 residences total) contribute to a measured resale market; homes on Old Harbour Road rarely trade, and the street's 30-home count reinforces that scarcity.
