Architect Max Strang designed this ultra-modern lakefront residence at Panther National in Avenir, Palm Beach Gardens, delivering 7,713 square feet under air with direct golf course and lake exposure. The property is new construction, completed in 2025, with a colonial classification on record but executed in Strang's signature glass-and-volume modernist vocabulary across a half-acre site.

Architecture & Design by Max Strang
Strang's plan centers on an open-concept layout with soaring ceilings and full-height glass walls that frame the golf course and lake on the rear elevation. Clean architectural lines define the modern facade, and the indoor-outdoor integration is achieved through multiple terraces accessible from the main living spaces. The four-car garage is incorporated into the massing without disrupting the street-facing composition.
Interior Layout
The main living and dining areas flow directly from the kitchen, which features custom cabinetry, a walk-in pantry, and a catering scullery. A glass-enclosed wine cellar anchors the entertaining zone between living and dining. Five bedrooms and eight bathrooms are distributed across the floor plan with flexible spaces that can serve as a home office, fitness studio, or media room.
The primary suite occupies a private wing with sitting areas, an expansive terrace overlooking the course, two full bathrooms, and dual closets with designer buildouts. Guest suites are separated for privacy. An elevator connects the floors.
Outdoor Living & Grounds
The rear grounds open to a heated pool with surrounding lounge terraces oriented toward the lake and fairway. Motorized screens allow the covered outdoor areas to function year-round. The half-acre lot provides separation from neighboring parcels while maintaining unobstructed sightlines to the water and course.
Technology & Systems
The house is built with a full smart home system, Lutron lighting throughout, automated shades, motorized screens, solar panels, a water detection system, and EV charging in the four-car garage. These are integrated systems, not retrofit additions.
Location & Access
Panther National is the Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course community developed within Avenir, the 4,752-acre master plan in western Palm Beach Gardens. The course was designed in collaboration with Justin Thomas. Membership provides access to wellness and lifestyle facilities and on-site dining. The community is guard-gated with a security fence perimeter. Palm Beach International Airport is approximately 25 minutes south via the Turnpike, and the Bee Line Highway provides a direct route east to the island. Avenir's western Palm Beach Gardens position places it within the growth corridor that has drawn significant institutional development over the past five years, and Panther National represents the first Nicklaus Signature course in the immediate market since Old Palm was completed.
