Architecture & Colonial Design
Segraves drew on traditional Colonial vocabulary for the exterior massing and interior detailing. The home features coffered ceilings, detailed woodwork, paneled walls, marble surfaces, and hardwood flooring carried throughout the principal rooms. The scale of the lot, roughly 0.82 acres, provides generous setbacks on all sides, which is increasingly uncommon for oceanfront parcels this far north on the island.
Interior Walkthrough
The oceanfront living room centers on a marble fireplace with direct ocean sightlines. Adjacent, the waterfront library is finished with full wall paneling and coffered ceilings. The formal dining room, also ocean-facing, is oversized and connects to a wet bar with wine refrigerator.
The marble kitchen includes a chef's island and breakfast nook, flowing into the family room. The primary suite occupies a premium oceanfront position with vaulted ceilings, a waterfront balcony, and dual bathrooms and closets. Secondary rooms include a game room, gym, and media room, providing self-contained living and entertainment without leaving the property.
Outdoor Living & Grounds
The outdoor program is layered across multiple zones: an oceanfront loggia for direct beach access, a separate pool loggia with built-in barbecue, and a heated in-ground pool. The oversized backyard, rare on oceanfront parcels of this width, offers usable open lawn between the main structure and the beach. The beachfront cabana functions as a standalone retreat separate from the main residence.
Location & Access
The North Shore section sits at the quieter north end of the island, removed from the density of the Estate Section and midtown. Properties here benefit from wider lot configurations and lower pedestrian traffic on the beach. Palm Beach International Airport is roughly a 20-minute drive via the north bridge. The Royal Poinciana Way commercial corridor and the Town Marina are both within a short drive south. North Shore parcels with this depth of ocean frontage rarely turn over; the combination of 120 feet of direct beach and a sub-acre lot designed by a named architect positions this as a significant holding on the north end.
