Architecture & Renovation
The current owner/builder executed a complete gut renovation in 2023, preserving the structure's historic footprint while replacing every major system and surface. All windows and doors are new impact-rated units. The building envelope includes high-efficiency thermal and sound insulation throughout. Exterior detailing follows a traditional West Indies vocabulary consistent with the neighborhood's mid-century character.
Interior Layout
The ground floor is organized around an open great room that combines living and dining areas, with French doors opening directly to the pool patio. The adjacent island kitchen features high-end appliances and clean-lined finishes. An office off the living area looks out to the pool.
The primary suite occupies its own wing on the first floor in a split bedroom plan. The bedroom faces the garden, and the bathroom is finished with dual sinks, a freestanding soaking tub, and a glass-enclosed multi-head shower. A custom-fitted walk-in closet connects the two spaces.
Three guest bedrooms and two full bathrooms are arranged upstairs around a central landing. The landing accesses two balconies with treetop views. A laundry room and half bath complete the floor plan.
Outdoor Living & Pool
The rear yard centers on a heated saltwater pool with child safety gate, accessed through the great room's French doors. The 0.14-acre lot accommodates the pool patio, garden areas visible from the primary suite, and a two-car garage with epoxy flooring.
Systems & Infrastructure
The smart-home integration is extensive: a whole-home sound network across seven media zones, Ethernet with CAT6 and CAT8 cabling, and a 15-camera surveillance system with lights and sirens. Additional systems include a tankless water heater and a full-house generator. Interior surfaces feature a white-on-white palette with lightly stained wood flooring throughout.
