About Ranch Colony

Ranch Colony is Jupiter’s answer to a question the coast cannot ask: what if the land itself were the luxury? Behind one 24 hour gate off the Bridge Road corridor sit five distinct communities on roughly 2,000 acres, built out between 1984 and 2014. Horse country, fly in living and championship golf share the same address, and about 257 residences share the whole of it.

The mix has no local equivalent. Ranch Estates runs to 20 and even 50 acre equestrian spreads, and Tailwinds parks airplanes beside houses. Two separate private clubs, The Dye Preserve and Old Trail, put 36 holes inside the gate.

Ranch Estates holds 36 homes on equestrian spreads of 20 to 50 acres, and Ranch Acres follows with 40 homes on 5 to 12 acre mini ranches. Old Trail wraps 74 homes around the Fazio course, and The Links holds 51 homes on 1 to 5 acres around Pete Dye's design. Tailwinds completes the set as a true airpark.

Each market moves on its own logic. Acreage buyers, golf buyers and pilots rarely compete for the same property, which keeps the colony's five curves distinct.

Tailwinds is the county's singular address for pilots: a 2,700 foot lighted, paved private runway with homes and hangars on 5 to 7 acre sites. Owners taxi from the hangar door and are airborne before the coast has cleared its bridges.

The two golf clubs are separate institutions from the community, each private, with membership optional for residents. The Dye Preserve carries one of Pete Dye's purest Florida designs, and Old Trail carries Tom Fazio's.

Frequently Asked Questions

A gated community of about 257 residences on roughly 2,000 acres in western Jupiter, holding five distinct neighborhoods. They are Ranch Estates, Ranch Acres, Tailwinds airpark, Old Trail and The Links at the Dye Preserve. Equestrian ranches, golf homes and hangar homes share one 24 hour gate.

It depends entirely on which of the five markets you mean, since a golf villa and a 20 acre ranch price on different logic. Three 2025 closings ran between $1.9M and $2.9M in the golf neighborhoods. Current closings and inventory are in the market table on this page, which updates automatically.

In Tailwinds, yes. The airpark’s homes sit on 5 to 7 acre sites with private hangars beside a 2,700 foot lighted, paved runway. It is the only address of its kind in the Jupiter area.

Two separate private clubs. The Dye Preserve is an 18 hole Pete Dye design, and Old Trail is an 18 hole Tom Fazio design. Each has its own membership, optional for residents, with terms from the clubs directly.

It is equestrian first in its ranch neighborhoods. Ranch Estates runs 20 to 50 acre spreads and Ranch Acres 5 to 12 acres, served by two equestrian centers and trail networks. Horses live better here than almost anywhere on the coastal side of the county.

In western Jupiter off the Bridge Road corridor near Mack Dairy Road, about twenty minutes from the beaches and the town’s coastal core. The trade is acreage and quiet for a longer drive to salt water.

It sells what they cannot: land, hangars and horses. Communities like Admirals Cove sell waterfront and marina life, while Ranch Colony sells twenty acres and a runway. The buyers overlap less than you would think, and both markets stay tight.
