Architecture and Coastal Modern Design
The collaboration between Benedict Bolluck Group and Marc Michaels produced what the team describes as a coastal modernist vocabulary: floor-to-ceiling high-impact glass on both water exposures, organic blends of glass, wood, and stone throughout, and modern massing softened by landscaped lawns and palm-lined approaches. A gated motor court leads to a two-story glass entry foyer with approximately 24-foot ceilings that opens directly to Atlantic views. Manalapan's barrier island geography means the compound captures sunrise over the ocean and sunset over the Intracoastal from opposite sides of the same parcel, a condition only possible in a handful of communities in Palm Beach County.
Interior Sequence and Primary Level
The main level is organized around an open floor plan with ocean sightlines from nearly every room. The great room anchors the east face of the house with panoramic Atlantic views, custom floor-to-ceiling windows, and a fireplace. The kitchen features all custom cabinetry, dual ovens, multi-burner gas cooktop, multiple refrigerators and freezers, and a walk-in pantry, opening to a breakfast area, family room, and ocean views. A separate temperature-controlled wine room sits adjacent.
A library with custom wood built-in cabinetry, fireplace, and ocean terrace occupies one wing of the main level. The club room functions as a secondary lounge with its own seating and media area. A game room accommodates a pool table, full bar, and sit-up island. The tiered, acoustically treated movie room includes a popcorn cart.
Primary Suite and Guest Quarters
The primary suite occupies a dedicated wing of the upper floor. It includes a bedroom with fireplace, a sitting room, two oversized boutique-style closets, two separate bathrooms (each with tub and walk-in shower), two separate water closets, a private laundry, a breakfast and evening bar, private balconies, and a bonus room configurable as an in-suite office or additional bedroom.
Guest accommodations include a VIP suite with private balcony, a two-bedroom, two-bath oceanfront suite with bunk room, and three additional en-suite bedrooms. An upstairs bonus room with half bath can serve as a family room or game area. A staff room with full bath and separate property manager's office with its own entrance provides service infrastructure. The house is served by two full-size elevators accessing all three floors and three to four full-size laundry rooms distributed across the residence.
Outdoor Living, Pool, and Grounds
The ocean side features a heated pool and spa, multiple lawns and seating areas, a summer kitchen, a full pool bath, two outdoor showers, and concrete stairs descending directly to the private beach with a beach bench. The grounds are fully walled, creating a compound perimeter across the 1.46-acre parcel. Security includes closed-circuit cameras, motion detectors, security fencing, phone and intercom entry, and an owned security system.
Dock and Water Access
The Intracoastal side includes a poured concrete dock equipped with three boat lifts rated at 30,000, 20,000, and 10,000 pounds respectively. A fish cleaning station with full electric and water is built into the dock infrastructure. The Boynton Inlet is a short run north, providing direct ocean access from the Intracoastal for larger vessels. This dual-water configuration, with both direct ocean beach and protected deep-water docking, exists on only a limited number of parcels in Manalapan.
Location and Access
Manalapan is a gated barrier island municipality with its own police department, situated centrally in Palm Beach County between Palm Beach and Boca Raton. Worth Avenue is a short drive north; Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach and Mizner Park in Boca Raton are accessible within minutes to the south. Ownership includes membership to the La Coquille Club at Eau Palm Beach Resort, which provides tennis, spa, and private beach club access. Palm Beach International Airport is the closest commercial gateway, with Boca Raton and Lantana airports available for private aviation. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International is approximately 30 minutes south.
